(Other) Motorsports
World Rally Championship series starts today in Sweden. There have been great changes in the cars, scoring and the whole sport in general from previous years, but the drivers are mostly same and it's still Citroen vs Ford - despite entering, Mini isn't de facto competing, they're just getting their stuff ready for next season.
Finland is still well represented by Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala in Ford's primary team and Kimi Räikkönen driving Citroen as his own one man team (quite common arrangement this season).

Re:
Okay I'll back the Citroen crowd!
My American friend says Ford stands for Fix Or Repair Daily, lol!

Re:
Looks good before last day, very interesting. But being the only snow rally, this wont hint much of the whole season.

Re:
Great results, Hirvonen wins Swedish rally, Latvala was third and Räikkönen eighth. Good start for the season, but as I said the only snow rally wont tell much about how this season will be.

Re:
GP3 will be interesting series this year as all Finnish future F1 hopes drive there: Valtteri Bottas (in last year champion team ART), Aaro Vainio and Matias Laine.
The series has 8 races happening with European F1 races (except Monaco, which was sadly cancelled for lack of space). This is secont season of this series, first for all Finns.

Re:
Turkish GP in May will be first; 3 F1 races before that.
This weekend: Rally Mexico.
Sébastien Loeb has won it last four times, so this is indicator for whole season whether anyone could finally beat him this year.

Re:
Now on Portugal Rally. Good so far for Finns, except Räikkönen had flat tire.
This is first rally with Mini cars competing (but not yet their official team).

Re:
Portugal Rally was decent for Finland: Latvala 3rd, Hirvonen 4th and Räikkönen positively 7th.
But Citroen 1-2 Ogier-Loeb doesn't bode well for championship.
