Active cancer cells, sadly, so treatment to begin asap. Prognosis good ... see the specialists tomorrow afternoon.

Treatment started with an injection on Tuesday - at this stage no side effects but expecting those to start kicking in next week. More blood tests in December.
Busy sorting out all sorts of family things, and getting organised with tickets, visas etc for travelling.
Never enough hours in a day!

A busy couple of weeks because our German family came to visit from Wuppertal. We went to Champagne Castle in the Drakensberg for a couple of days, and then on to Nambiti Plains Game Reserve, where we were lucky to see the Big Five plus cheetah. Unfortunately I took ill while there - caught a northern European type change of seasons full blown influenza and have honestly never, ever been as sick as this with the flu before. Almost two weeks and still have a tight chest and dreadful cough, and am weak as the proverbial kitten. Doctor wanted to put me in hospital but no thanks! Antibiotics will finish tomorrow ...
Anja and Clara flew back to Germany last Friday, and so now trying to pull myself and the house together again! It was such fun to see them.
So at the moment just trying to recover, and resting up a lot. Have lost almost 5kg in weight.
Dentist tomorrow - had to cancel last week, and really must go this time.
Hope everyone is doing okay.

For the moment I have no complaints (other than Hamilton being almost certain world champion and Finnish teams doing bad in ice hockey).
The other day did one last bicycle trip before we get snow, I'll post a couple pictures later.

Good game hunting day at flea market, got Battlefield 2 Complete Collection, Half-Life 2 (GotY edition, including updated versions of H-L1 and Counter-Strike) and a strategy game Codename: Panzers.
There would've been lot more games, but all too new to run on my PCs, therefore also bit expensive and nothing I'm particularly looking for.

Damn clouds, I won't get to see this Mercury Transit. Would've been only first half an hour or so anyway, but still... won't happen for over a decade again.
