Christmas

It's Christmas week and I've been horribly busy with things that need doing before our first big family dinner back in my own home again.

We haven't done this for over 15 years, so I'm looking forward to having the family around me for the day.

For this I've decorated a tree and over the weekend I'll be stocking up on food so I don't have to cook for the days between Christmas and New Year. On Monday evening they're coming to us for dinner, and on Christmas Day, the family who have another commitment for the evening dinner will be here for brunch before going on to other family.

Love Christmas. Not for the religion of it, but for the idea behind it. Peace and goodwill, and family feast, and presents.

Re: Christmas

I don't have many traditions aside the few games and eating nothing but candy for couple days.

It's been wonderful. People here visiting and food, and today we went out for breakfast, tomorrow more visitors, and Saturday a movie.

I'm having a great time. And I got an Apple Watch for Christmas. I was overjoyed!

I was given a wonderful new ultra-light but very strong wheel-on suitcase to use for hand luggage when flying.
And also special hand cream, make-up, shower gel, and body lotion.
