Where do you fit on the British political spectrum?

I came across this reasonable quiz earlier. It seems to give a decent approximation for where people stand in the British political spectrum and comparing which British MPs closely resemble your views. If anyone wants to try it the link is below:

https://www.crowdpac.co.uk/

I am 62% liberty and 61% left. In terms of parties I am:

90% aligned with Labour,
84% aligned with Liberal Democrats,
76% aligned with Green Party (ugh),
57% aligned with Conservatives,
and 26% aligned with UKIP (yay, they're last!)

In terms of Labour, from the few MPs selected, I am:

97% aligned with Liz Kendall,
95% aligned with David Miliband,
93% aligned with Sadiq Khan,
90% aligned with Dan Jarvis,
90% aligned with Tony Blair...

Image

I am pleased with that, I am close to the current MPs which I like (Kendall, Khan, Jarvis) and I am not that close to Corbyn. I don't know why it's included Blair and Miliband given that they're no longer MPs and I have some grievances over them giving Corbyn a liberty position. I realise that it's limited by its few questions, and Corbyn's support of same-sex marriage in the UK would see him score highly in liberty, but given that Corbyn is ambivalent towards tyranny in anti-western regimes (as evident by his association with Hamas, Iran and Russia and his meetings with dictators as part of some vanity trip (see [here)) I'd say that his answer to the liberty over authority question should have been a disagree, and this should have seen his liberty score fall.

Nicola Sturgeon's another curious one. She's that far left because of her words on economic and social issues, yet her SNP has been far more like the Tories on tax.

I have done this again from the standpoint I was at when I was 18 and there are some predictable and obvious differences to where I am now.

My 18 year old self was:

86% liberty, 98% left

Green Party: 97% match
Labour Party: 81% match
Liberal Democrats: 74% match
Conservatives: 29% match
UKIP: 0% match

Politicians:
Jeremy Corbyn: 97% match
Caroline Lucas: 96% match
Nicola Sturgeon: 86% match
Chuka Umunna: 83% match
Tom Watson: 81% match

Thankfully I've changed as I've matured and learned more, and I'm probably more settled with my views now that I have a better understanding of the world, so I doubt I'd have changed from my current position in the future. Though I do wonder what the 18 year old Chomsky admiring me would make of me now.

I can't get into that site. I do know that on British politics in general, I've never gone with the conservatives. I'm more like Iceland in my thinking when it comes to politics. I like their system.
