I'm quite interested to know how the US is able to fund his weekend junkets to Florida. What's it costing, around $3m a week? How on earth can they afford that? Someone has to be footing the bill and I'm wondering if there's money in the budget for presidential vacations at around $[sign in to see URL] billion a year? Wow!

Trump is costing much more than that.
That specific area in Florida is tossing around the idea of increasing taxes, because Trump is costing them too much money.
Trump refuses to spend his time relaxing at Camp David.

Trump does what he wants.
The Republicans do not have the back bone to do what is right.
The Democrats do not have the majority of those seats.
9 or 10 Republican seats are for re-election in 2018.
More Democratic seats are up for re-election in 2018.

Democrats and some Republican Governors are trying to stand up to Trump.
It is the Republican Senators that have the power.

Yes I understand that. I'm fairly familiar with US politics.

I can't see the republicans will go for taxes being increased. It would be better to make him pay for himself.

I still wonder what are the things senate/congress republicans want or expect from Trump for their continued support.

Trump expects loyalty.
He prefers that people agree with him.

He expects Congress to vote yes on everything that he wants.
His health care.
His budget cuts.
His wall.
He is insisting on being allowed to ban all Muslims.
Etc.

The internet has an abundance of things on Trump.

I think that the Republicans will continue catering to him on some things.
Not all of them will vote yes to all of his budget cuts and his healthcare.
