I've got an E.T. cartridge in my collection of atari 2600 games. Its one of the ones that never gets played and to be honest I don't even remember what the gameplay is even like. Still, I find it absurd that they would throw all those in the trash. Why not just give them away? Reminds me of back when I was a teen and worked at a supermarket and at the end of the night, management required employees to chuck out pastries and other perishable items that didn't get sold into the trash. The food was still edible and perhaps a food pantry could have lifted it off the supermarkets hands but you know how management works. Common sense goes right out the window and into the trash.

I wonder if it's true that they made more of the game than there were consoles?


Pretty large part of my comics were taken by dad from paper factory's recycling, unsold or misprints.
