Team GB is doing exceptionally well in so many events it's hard to keep up lol! Well done to them all - they're my second favourites of course.

Wow. I suppose you do better in the Winter Olympics.

Not much. We've had decade of disasters. Last two winter gamer: 0 gold. And 2004 was our only summer games without one gold.

And our only 2008 gold medalist just finished 7th in shooting... as 6 get in final emoticon

Well, well, well I got to see Oscar run (tape delay, of course) I'd pretty much given up on the Olympics.

Re: Olympics

We have a medal!

Silver in women's windsurfing for Tuuli Petäjä and what a race it was! In medal race she was 4th when 5th place would've put her 4th in total.

Curious fact: her first name means "wind"

Despite Oscar coming last in the semi he has proved himself capable of competing amongst the others and can hold his head high. The actions of the other athletes at the end of the race just showed how respected he is amongst his fellow runners. Now for the Paralympics! emoticon

I'm also looking forward to the Paras Leo! Oscar is an inspiration, that's for sure.

Have absolutely loved the Olympics this year, and also enjoy cheering on Team GB because that's also close to my heart with my roots being there, and the only other place on the planet of all the countries that I've visited, where I slot in and feel totally at home.

Actually I must agree. I've enjoyed the little I've watched. I usually watch sport under duress, but not this time.
