Copyright infringements
Please note the following regarding quoting text from other websites:
Do not copy and paste large pieces of text from websites without citing references. This means that you must also post the name of the writer of the item you are copying.
This doesn't apply to jokes or trivia that you subscribe to which, by the subscription allow you to copy their material.
Please note that infringement of copyright can have very serious legal repercussions for the owners of Runboard and will lead to the suspension of your account.
Therefore if you find something interesting, i.e. an item of news or some interesting pictures, please either summarise the story in your own words, citing the website where you obtained the information, or paste a link, but also with your own comment about what you are posting. If it is a picture, then copy the link to your own picture hosting site but also tell us where you found the picture.

Thanks guys. There was some trouble on another site. I was asked to warn you of this. There is no problem with making small quotes from other websites, but you must say where you got the story, if possible who wrote it (not always possible I know) but then make your own comments and post the link. This linking gives free advertising to the site and gets traffic to their sites (which of course is what we all want).
This is US law and we have to abide by it.

Just someone on another site posting pages and pages from a website without commentary or any attempt at interpretation and without acknowledging the author. I got someone to explain it to me so it's now clear if you find something interesting, tell us a little about it, then lead us to the site. If you find a picture copy it to your picture host and then show it on the messageboard.
