Re:
I wouldn't even think of putting my feet in the pool in that weather. On the other hand, I bet you wouldn't think an electric blanket is necessary in 15C weather.

Re: How's your weather today #4
I don't think I've ever seen an electric blanket.
Steady about 30C, as hot as it ever gets here. And expected to hold there for several more days...

Re:
Electric blankets are wonderful for taking the cold off the bed before you stick your freezing feet under the covers. Last night with the water problem, my socks kept getting wet so I took them off, then when Barry came to bed and turned on his electric blanket, he also put socks on my icy feet, and I slept for 6 hours. I won't go through winter without the warmth of the technology of the 21st century. The nights are really cold here, and the house is all open, so we can't even warm a room and stay there. We can't live in the bedroom.

Re: How's your weather today #4
Keeps getting worse, not sure I've ever seen that thermometer (which has been on the exact same spot at least twenty years) show over 31C.
There was official Lapland area record over 33C today.
They say last two summers official records nowhere in Finland ever got over 30C and it's not like those were cool years, far from it.
Harvests are suffering all over Nordics.
