My life at the moment is obsessed with getting through every crisis and arrangement that has to be completed before I move to the next stage of the current drama. Hopefully when it's all over, the drama will end.

Good morning everyone. It's a warm, windy, gloomy day here. Looking like rain or snow at the moment. Woke up with a sore back again so I will probably skip the 3 mile walk today, we'll see. No real plans for the day so hopefully I can veg and watch Olympics. :)

Hi all - a quick hi and bye this morning ... have been very involved with the political changes happening in our country at long last and been glued to the TV for the last few days! We have a new President (the old git finally resigned under pressure) - and Cyril Ramaphosa was sworn in last night. Tonight, a State of the Nation Address and hopefully a huge cabinet reshuffle to get rid of the deadwood self-serving so and so's, and then next week - Budget.

Will hopefully pop in again over the weekend. Enjoy TGIF everyone, and keep smiling out there!

I'm feeling much more relaxed now some decisions have been made. It's been a tough three weeks since the crisis hit us. Now all sorts of other positive changes are falling into place. It's almost as if the uncertainly of the last months and the problems that have hounded us for years are becoming resolved. So yes, a little more chilled.

Himself had his first cataract done this week. The outcome is that although the lens is perfect, it hasn't resolved the blurred vision as a result of retina damage, so while the other eye will be ok, the left one is still problematic. Which has led to some questions being resolved, and it's fine. He's easy-going, luckily he's not arguing about the options open to him now.

Good morning my friends. Beautiful chilly day here. We went from 30F at 5:00 yesterday evening to -4 this morning. But the sun is shining so I'm smiling. Not sure what the plans are for today. I have to go to the store either today or tomorrow so I'll see how it goes. Mo, glad things are looking up for you. Petal, better you than me.. I can't stand Politics. :D Hope you all have an amazing day. :)

With our house up for sale, we're looking at options for places to buy. It's a lot of fun fantasising about how we'd live in some of the lovely homes we're viewing. I'm looking forward to house-hunting on our trip up north at the end of March.

In the meantime we wait for a buyer for this house.

Lots going on at the moment - a bit frustrated because I can't use the new iMac bought yesterday - not yet. I had a training session booked but the guy who does the training was sadly involved in a dreadful bike accident on his way to work yesterday, and so they had to cancel.
Need to do this properly, so for the meantime it's back in the box, and still using the old one till I've had some lessons. It's a complicated set up, that's for sure!

Why is it complicated. Unpack it, plug it in and it works.

After the time I spend today to get a game running, I'm not saying anything about "complicated".
