Protect endangered wildlife!

Since the beginning of the 20th century, more the forty-eight different species of animals have been officially declared extinct due to hunting and habitat loss.

I want poachers and people who destroy habitats to be dropped in a reserve where lions roam, so they can be eaten.

Last Friday a suspected poacher was found mauled to death by lions.

Imagine this scenario: You're at the beach. You see a baby Dolphin with its mother. Do you...

a) Grab the dolphin calf from the water, pass it around a large crowd of tourists then leave it to die on the sand.

or

b) Smile and admire the animals from a safe distance.

Yes.

Here's the story

I would take it even further. I want fox hunting to be banned completely, and bullfighting. We need to end the exploitation of animals for our amusement, declare them to be sentient beings, and slowly start to phase out the consumption of their flesh. We're able to get enough protein from plants, but I accept that domestic farm animals can't just be let loose in the wild, so we can stop by not breeding any more of them except by natural inclination. I'd also like to see veal being declared an illegal meat, along with the other obvious ones, like foie gras.

It's ridiculous just how idiotic some people can be. Check out this list of 10 animals that paid the price of tourist stupidity and cruelty:

Besides the hunting of elephants and rhinos for their horns and tusks, one thing that I'd really like to see banned is shark finning. I've seen it on television and it's awful how these animals are treated, having their fins hacked off while they're still alive then dumped back in the ocean to bleed to death or be eaten by other predators. Having had the chance to feed and swim with sharks, I much prefer to see them alive rather than dead on someone's dinner plate.

I have never in my life found two things that taste exactly the same. I stick to one brand in almost everything.
Mom always claims about box of chocolates that they all taste the same and to me each is as far from the others as kiwi and strawberry.

On the actual topic, I think cutting down around 90% of meat production would do both mankind and the rest of the planet a whole lot of good in various ways, but trying to ban things totally never turns out well. Thinking prohibitions, wars on drugs...

Yes, it won't work because people will produce meat that is unregulated and people will die.

People need to be convinced that alternative foods are healthier than what they're presently eating. But not only that, that it will be good for the planet.

Tourist stupidity doesn't just harm animals. It can sometimes result in death for the tourist. In July 2016, a Chinese woman was visiting a drive-through safari park with her family when she got into an argument with her husband and left the car, right in the middle of the Siberian tiger exhibit. Within seconds, in full view of security cameras, one of the tigers attacked. When the woman's family tried to help her, they were also attacked and the woman's mother was mauled to death. This is why drive-through safari parks tell you to stay in your vehicles.
